What SwatchShelf is

SwatchShelf is a Shopify app that shows color, texture and image swatches for product variants on your storefront. It is installed through the Shopify App Store and displays swatches through a theme app extension.

Information we process

From your store we process your shop domain, the product option and variant data needed to draw swatches (option names and values, variant images), and the swatch settings you save in the app. Swatch settings are stored in your own Shopify store as app-owned metafields. We keep a small record of your shop domain, the installed plan and billing status so the app works and you are billed correctly.

Storefront visitors

The swatch script runs in your visitors' browser, makes no requests to our servers or any third party, sets no cookies and does not track visitors. We do not collect, store or sell any personal information about your customers.

Sharing

We do not sell or share your data. Billing is handled by Shopify. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes requests on our behalf.

Retention and deletion

When you uninstall the app, Shopify notifies us and we delete the data we hold about your shop within 48 hours of the shop/redact request that Shopify sends. We respond to Shopify's customer data request and customer redact webhooks; because we hold no customer personal data, there is nothing to return or erase.

Children

SwatchShelf is a merchant tool not directed at children under 13.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about your shop or ask us to delete it at any time by contacting us. If you are in the EEA, UK or similar jurisdictions, you have the usual rights of access, correction and deletion.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the effective date above.
