Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded?

No. Everything happens on your PC. The app only asks your browser for access to the folder you pick.

How do I undo a rename?

Click Undo last batch. The journal is kept in the app and also saved as a small JSON file named jobfile-undo-... in the folder, so you can restore later.

What should my CSV look like?

Two columns: old name, new name. A header row is optional. Commas, semicolons and tabs work. Extensions are kept unless your new name includes one.

What does the free version include?

Everything in the preview and conflict check, plus renaming of the first 10 files per batch. A license removes the limit.

Which browsers work?

The Windows app from the Microsoft Store, Edge and Chrome on desktop. Safari and Firefox do not support folder access yet.
