Does ContactName read my spreadsheet?

Only the spreadsheet you have open, only while you click Preview or Apply, and only inside your Google account. Nothing is sent to us.

How do I undo a cleanup?

Open the sidebar and click Undo last run. ContactName removes the columns it added, or restores the original names from a hidden backup sheet if you replaced the column.

What is free and what is Pro?

Free: split, casing fix, flags and duplicate hints for up to 200 names per run, preview and undo. Pro ($19 once): unlimited rows and replacing the original column with the clean full name. Pro is sold outside Google.

Where do I enter my license key?

Open Extensions > ContactName > Open and paste the key in the License box of the sidebar.

A name was split wrongly.

Rows that need a human look (single words, couples, companies, digits) are highlighted yellow on the Preview sheet and are never split or changed in Replace mode. Fix those by hand, or use Undo last run. Mary Ann Smith is read as first Mary, middle Ann
