Information we collect

SplitStars is a Telegram Mini App and bot. We store your Telegram user id, display name, username and language code (provided by Telegram), the trips, members, exchange rates, expenses, settlements and categories you or your group enter, and, for Premium users, the Telegram file id of receipt photos you attach. This data is stored in Cloudflare D1 (Cloudflare, Inc.) and is visible to the other members of the trips you join. We use it only to run the app. We do not show ads, do not sell data and do not share it with third parties other than Cloudflare as our hosting provider and Telegram as the platform. We do not collect your phone number, contacts or location.

Purchases

Premium is paid with Telegram Stars through Telegram's own payment system. We never receive your card or payment details; Telegram handles the payment and sends us a confirmation containing your Telegram id, the product and the payment id, which we store to unlock Premium and to process refunds. Refund requests can be sent to the contact address below.

Children

SplitStars is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Because we hold little or no personal information about you, there is generally nothing to access or delete. If you believe we hold data about you, contact us and we will respond promptly.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the effective date above.
