PasteRepair Pro - Privacy Policy

What PasteRepair Pro does

PasteRepair Pro is a Google Docs add-on that cleans up pasted text (line wraps, spaces, bullets, quotes and similar). It works only on the document you have open, and only when you click Preview or Apply.

Google user data

The add-on requests access to the current document only (documents.currentonly), to read its text and apply the fixes you approve, and to show its sidebar (script.container.ui). The text of your document is processed inside Google's Apps Script runtime in your Google account. We never receive, copy, store, sell or share your document content, your name or your email address. We do not use Google user data for advertising, for training AI models, or for any purpose other than providing the features you use.

PasteRepair Pro's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Information sent to our server

Only if you buy and activate Pro (script.external_request): your license key and a random device identifier created by the add-on are sent over HTTPS to our license server so it can confirm that the license is valid. No document content, no Google account details. The free version sends nothing to us.

Information stored

The add-on stores your settings, the random device identifier and (for Pro) your license key in Google's per-user add-on storage (Apps Script User Properties). You can remove them by uninstalling the add-on or asking us to deactivate your key.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details; we keep your email and order reference to issue and support your license.

Children

PasteRepair Pro is not directed at children under 13.

Your rights

We hold almost no personal data about you. For access or deletion of license records, email us and we will respond promptly.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the effective date.
