Frequently asked questions

Does CSV Reconcile send my files anywhere?

No. Both files are read and compared locally inside your IDE. Nothing is uploaded and there is no analytics or tracking.

Why does it request the page again?

Optionally, it re-requests the current page from its own website (the same URL, no third party) to tell markup that the server sends from markup added later by JavaScript or a tag manager. You can switch this off on the report page, in Settings.

Which permissions does it use and why?

activeTab and scripting let it read the page you are looking at, only when you click the icon. storage keeps your last report, settings and (Pro) saved audits on your device. It has no access to other tabs or sites.

How does it know which plugin emitted a block?

It looks for markers the page leaves behind: script classes and ids, @id patterns, plugin comments and folders. This is a best-effort guess and each result shows its confidence and reasons.

Is this the same as Google's Rich Results Test?

No. CSV Reconcile applies a local approximation of Google's documented rules and focuses on duplicates and conflicts between sources. Confirm important changes with Google's tools.

What is sent when I activate a Pro or Agency license?

Only your license key and a random device ID are sent to license.earthloomholdings.com to verify the purchase. After that, the signed license is checked offline.

How do I restore or move my license?

License is tied to your JetBrains Account, so it follows you on any machine where you sign in. Contact support if a license does not activate.
